I'm not sure about the effectiveness, as the skills you have listed use 3 different attributes... it will be hard to make more than 2 of them very effective I should think.

I thought about that and you really dont need [skill]Barbs[/skill] in there, use it as an optional slot i guess

I would just go with the [assassin's promise][you move like a dwarf][ebon vanguard assassin support][finish him] combo.

Overpowered PvE skills + all skill recharge from AP + energy returned from AP + energy from soul reaping with a Discord team behind you is probably the fastest way to kill single targets.

I dont really like CoP on a necro bar because of:

1. Can't use AP
2. Longer recharge
3. Need a mesmer hex
4. Need monsters to clump together

Not a bad skill, but I prefer other choices.

Frankly your elite is being wasted imo. Better to use a good elite and a skill like epidemic (mesmer) to spread some conditions around (if you're really worried about it). Honestly, when using discord, I find that the heroes are quite effective at putting conditions out there, though sometimes lag behind in hexes. Having 1 or no conditions on you bar should be sufficient. Better to bring skills like Necrosis along anyway.

Is this build to be used with a team of discord humans? Is Virulence necessary?
If it's to be run with heroes with Discord, just run [Assassin's Promise][You move like a dwarf][finish Him!]. In fact, run that anyway.

With that build, it looks like you'll spend a while sticking the conditions on the enemy and spend the rest of the fight doing nothing worthwhile. Not good.

The reason Fragility/Virulence Mesmers were strong was because they invested very little into Death Magic. That way, the conditions from [[Virulence] wore off quickly, causing more damage from [[Fragility]; they weren't going for longer condition duration (higher Death Magic) because degen does very little damage, less by far than quick on-and-off conditions triggering Fragility.

Still, the [[Assassin's Promise]/PvE bar works loads better, so it's a moot point.

Fixed it for you. Discordway is pretty mediocre to start with, and necros in particular have so much potential to do better.
